What's He Building In There?

I realized that I've been streaming videos of me in the studio and posting things online without any real explanation about what I'm doing. Here is where I rectify that.

So, yes, I am just now releasing my debut record Anywhere (get yours now while supplies last!) but I've got the music in me, friends. And I've got to get it out.

About the time that I was putting the finishing touches on Anywhere, I started compiling the songs I had (from the 30 Days project and from just general writing) and I found some commonality in the subject matter.

Roughly 20-25 of the songs qualify as "keepers" and I've pared that down to about 15-18. After a little cogitating, I found that there are essentially three very general categories that the subject matter of the songs fall into. Those categories are: Happy, Sad and Twisted.

So, over the next [amount of time to be determined], I'll be working on three EPs with three different producers.

Happy is about 80% recorded with producer Chris Grainger.

Sad with producer Andrew Osenga is about 50% recorded.

Twisted will be some of my weirder, more rocking songs with producer and Dubai travel companion Vince Romanelli. Haven't started that one yet.

At the end of this falderal, I'll probably find a way to release all three together with some new goodies. I haven't figured that all out yet.
