March Mini-Tour- Day 2

Ah... Washington. You can smell the history. ...or maybe that's not history I'm smelling...

Either way, what a great vibe to this town! I came here once with my family when I was about 9 or so. It's nice to take it all in from an adult(ish) vantage point.

While my friends were still at work this afternoon (suckers!) I took a walk down to the White House, Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial. Turns out they are pretty far away so I ended up walking about 7 miles total. My legs are sore but after all that driving, it's nice to spread out and explore.

My hosts and I managed to squeeze in a delicious dinner, some Skee-BallĀ® and even some Connect FourĀ® at a local establishment before crashing early. Turns out I am terrible at both of those games.

Long drive to Boston tomorrow! Mmm... chowdah...
